My jewelry journey started decades ago in my early 20s, sitting at the bench on Saturdays changing watch batteries at Loudoun Jewelers, a longtime community staple in Sterling, Virginia.

I quickly realized I wasn’t cut out for aggressive, high-pressure sales. What I loved most was helping everyday people find pieces that felt meaningful, beautiful, and within reach. To this day, I still wear the gold and chip diamond ring the owners let me buy at wholesale when I was broke and completely in love with it. That early experience shaped one of the beliefs behind SilverDar: jewelry should feel special, but it should also feel approachable, wearable, and part of real life.

Today, I bring that same philosophy to my home studio, where I’ve been handcrafting silver jewelry for over 16 years.

Every piece in my shop is shaped, flame-fused, textured, and polished by hand using solid Argentium® 940 Silver. I work exclusively with Argentium because it gives each piece a beautiful bright finish while being easy to wear and simple to care for.
